T. J. de Ruiter

Hello, I am Andrew, the son of Teun & Tessa de  Ruiter.

I like to tell you briefly about my parents. My father was born in Scheveningen near The Hague, at the coast of the North Sea. His upbringing was typical Dutch Reformed: As a baby baptized, going to Church from his youngest days, singing the Psalms, strict Sunday observance, catechism en confirmation as a churchmember in his early twenties. During his military service with the Dutch Royal Airforce he received the Lord into his heart as his personal Saviour - he was at that time twenty years old. This happened after a weekend conference with Anne van der Bijl and Sidney Wilson. That decision changed his life and ambitions completely. In 1960 he went to to Wales as he felt the call of God to the ministry. He became a student at 'The Bible College of Wales.' In 1962  he stayed for a ministerial visit at the home of a Baptist minister in Brynmawr. There he met Tessa, with whom he fell in love - and she with him. In september of 1963 they married in South Wales. During the college studies he developed a friendship with the now wellknown German evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. Since their ways parted after finishing their ministerial training they kept in touch with each other and met from time to time.

My parents moved to Holland in 1967 with me, their first child. In that year he was invited to become a teacher in Bible- and Theology at the 'Centrale Pinkster Bijbelschool' in The Hague. In 1990 he was ordained as the minister of the Elim Pentecostal Church in Hilversum.

Their denominational ties are with the 'Verenigde Pinkster en Evangeliegemeenten,' (United Pentecostal & Evangelical Churches) which is affiliated with the Assemblies of God; he and Tessa have both a ministerial license.

In 1996 my father saw a great opportunity to give a new impulse to his vision to be a teacher for all nations. He openend a worldwide, bilingual ministry (English and Dutch language)  through internet and e-mail. This ministry was confirmed by a prophetic word. In 1997 we opened the first website and he continued to develop this ministry up to this present day. Now He can truly say, by the grace of God I am an international Pastor and Bibleteacher.

Our prayer is that everywhere on this planet people will find salvation and peace by faith in Jesus Christ and that a mighty wave of salvation and revival will move over our countries and, indeed, the whole world. I look with my father and mother forward to the return of Jesus Christ, because we know from Scripture that His coming is the eternal union of all believers with Him and for the world the coming of the Great Kingdom of peace and righteousness.
